No one was created to live life alone. When God looked at all creation, He declared each part to be good until He saw Adam alone and said “It is not good for man to be alone” (Genesis 2:18).
A Life Group is a small group of people who meets regularly to do life together and you are invited to be part of one. Each group is designed to be a safe place where everyone can learn to follow Jesus in community and grow in faith together.
There is a Life Group for everyone – for every life stage and demographic – from youth to seniors, and from mixed gender or men or women only groups. Whether you are new to faith in Jesus, still searching for answers to life’s big questions, or have been a Jesus-follower for a long time, there is a place for you in a Life Group.

Water Baptism
We believe that water baptism is a beautiful public declaration of faith, modelled for us by Jesus himself. It’s a powerful way to share with others the decision you’ve made to follow Him. We love it when people take this step of faith and ask about baptism—and we’re here to answer any questions you might have along the way.
Membership
As is standard across all Baptist Union of Victoria churches, we operate like a democracy. Church goers can become Members, and have the power to vote on things such as budgets, staff appointments and more.
The church leadership (Church Council & Pastoral Team) is put in place (confirmed by members) to guide the church and make recommendations to the members.
We encourage all regular attendees to become Members! Chat to one of our team after a service to find out more!
Serve
Our church is built on the foundation of volunteers, who see their Christian faith as something bigger than themselves! Jesus believed wholeheartedly in the local church, so we do too!
There are a variety of teams you can serve on. Worship, media, hospitality, kids, youth, lawn-mowing, sound, and so many more! We love connecting people with their passions and would love to help you see where you fit in the life of MPBC.
