Geoff Shepherd

Senior Pastor

Ps Geoff has faithfully served as Senior Pastor of MPBC for over 20 years. He is a gifted communicator with a rich breadth of life experience, shaped by his years as a Policeman and later as a Youth Pastor. He is deeply appreciated for his warmth, humility, and genuine care for people. Geoff is married to his Canadian wife, Deb, and together they have three adult children and a daughter‑in‑law. He treasures every moment spent with his family. He also serves half a day each week as chaplain to the Richmond Tigers — a role he delights in as a lifelong supporter.

Adam Deveson

Youth & Young Adults Pastor

Ps Adam oversees our youth and young adults. He longs to see people of all ages and stages growing closer to Jesus, and loves working with his wife Tash in building the identity of our youth and young adults ministries. He loves his soccer and is a passionate Manchester City fan. Adam is also interested in the creative expression of gentrification in renovation and design.

Samy Kaldas

Associate Pastor

Ps Samy leads our ministry for Arabic-speaking brothers and sisters from Mill Park and the surrounding areas. An enthusiastic preacher with a heart for serving a diverse community, he is much loved and always has a smile on his face. He enjoys helping people grow in their faith. Married to Martha, they have three children, a daughter-in-law, and three beautiful grandchildren who keep life full of laughter and joy. Fun fact: he’s a big fan of numbers and loves spotting the little ways they pop up in everyday life!

Lisa Walton

Administrator

Lisa has been part of our church family for over 20 years and loves her admin role at MPBC! Married to David, she’s a proud mum of four grown-up “kids,” plus one dog, two cats, and two rescue birds—so her household is always full of life (and mess)! Lisa loves a good coffee (especially when paired with a donut) and is passionate about serving and supporting our church community.

June Lal

Administrator

A long‑standing member of our church community, June looks after all our compliance and safety responsibilities with care and diligence. She brings warmth to everything she does and is always up for a coffee and a chat, ready to help however she can.
